About
I began my career at the renowned design studio C&G Partners, founded by AIGA Medalists Ivan Chermayeff, Tom Geismar, and Steff Geissbuhler. It was a dream environment—working alongside designers who shaped some of the most iconic identities in the world, from NBC and MoMA to Time Warner, Chase, and Mobil. There, I worked across brand identity, exhibitions, and interaction design for clients ranging from cultural institutions and non-profits to large financial organizations, gaining a deep appreciation for how design operates across industries, constraints, and audiences.
I later joined Siegel+Gale, where I moved into large-scale global brand work for companies like American Express, HP, and SAP. After more than a decade in agency life, I took a leap into a product invention startup called Quirky. It didn’t last—the company ultimately folded—but it set the stage for the most defining chapter of my career.
Shortly after, I joined a then little-known tech startup called Datadog. I didn’t fully understand the product at the time, but I recognized the opportunity: to build something meaningful from the inside out. What followed was the chance to take full ownership of a brand, shape its identity as the company scaled, and grow faster—professionally and personally—than I ever could have in a traditional agency role. It turned out to be the opportunity of a lifetime, and I’ve never looked back.
Beyond the work, I’m a Korean-American immigrant who grew up in Queens, NY, learning early the value of grit, resilience, and persistence. I’m also an avid poker player who believes in taking calculated risks, making the most of the hand you’re dealt, and focusing on good decisions rather than just outcomes.
I enjoy playing and watching just about any sport, and as a lifelong Mets, Jets, and Nets fan, I’ve endured more pain and suffering than most people would willingly sign up for.
I currently live in New Jersey with my family and am a proud girl dad to three beautiful daughters. Hi girls!
